another rookie gym leader, GYM LEADER TAO is known to train alongside his pokémon personally. though unconfident in his abilities, he was encouraged by kris and suho to take the gym leader certification. since then, he has begun to blossom as a trainer in his own right. he can often be found in the day care. none of his pokémon were caught in the wild; they were all bred, hatched, and raised by him personally. as such, some of them have unique movesets. he will never evolve his pancham. he is soulbonded to that pancham.
